Short questionnaire by Surrey MSc student, assessing public opinion on the relationship between economic growth and the planet

In recent years, the limits-to-growth debate is notably gaining traction—media coverage is shifting, post-growth thinking has arrived in politics. What does public opinion make about the relationship of economic growth and planetary health? What might social levers for transformative politico-economic change be? In our study, we are assessing public beliefs and attitudes about the growth paradigm and its potential alternatives, with a view to identifying types of environmental and sustainability policies towards prosperity without growth.
