James Fotherby

James is a policy officer at the Aldersgate Group, leading the work on green finance, with a particular focus on financial regulation and reporting and disclosure requirements.

Before joining the Aldersgate Group, James worked as a Policy Adviser at the independent environmental think tank and charity, Green Alliance. He ran their parliamentary green finance programme as well as researching and advocating on additional policy areas including green skills and just transition.

He holds a BA in Ancient History and a MSc in Anthropology, Environment, and Development from University College London.
