Spending time in a low carbon society | RSC event w/ Angela Druckman
Prof Angela Druckman to give a presentation on the embeddedness of carbon in UK lifestyles
The Royal Society of Chemistry, 13 October 2016, 6pm
Use of carbon is deeply embedded in Western lifestyles. In this talk, CUSP co-investigator Prof Angela Druckman will explore our research question of whether we can have more fun, while using less ‘stuff’.
In light of the carbon emissions of our different activities the presentation will consider what makes us happy, and how we currently use our time. The talk will conclude with discussing possible avenues that may lead towards more sustainable lifestyles.
The event is taking place at The Royal Society of Chemistry. To register, and for further information, please contact Tilele Stevens (tilele.ts@gmail.com).
