Podcast launch
Mum, will the planet die before I do?
Online, 27 April 2022, 8pm (BST)
We are delighted to invite you to the launch of a new podcast: Mum, Will the Planet Die Before I do?, exploring our role as parents and carers in tackling the climate crisis.
Journalists Katy Glassborow and Babita Sharma spent their careers investigating news stories, including climate change, but when they both became mums the climate headlines left them in a state of fear. How do you parent in a climate emergency? Katy and Babita decided to consult some of the world’s leading climate thinkers on how to rip up ‘parenting’ and piece it back together to fit our planetary reality.
Join us for an evening with the hosts and some of the podcast guests including Prof Tim Jackson, Rocky Dawuni and Tessa Khan. The first episode of the podcast series will go live on 28th April. You can follow it on all the usual platforms.
