The World We Want

CUSP researchers will be providing educational activities as part of the Global Climate Strike on the 20th of September.

Climate strikers in Guildford will march from Holy Trinity Church to Guildford Borough Council to Ranger House – UNISON Surrey headquarters. Afterwards, there will be educational activities around climate change.

CUSP researchers will be leading an activity that encourages strikers to think positively about the future: Many of the things that cause climate change, also cause social problems. By stopping climate change we also have the opportunity to build a better world. In this session, the strikers will make pictures of their ideal futures and will work together to come up with steps they can take to make their pictures a reality.
