Codename: Tomorrowland

What will life in Coventry be like in 2040? A group of young people from the Positive Youth Foundation will take part in a bespoke workshop to develop utopian visions for Coventry as part of the CHANGE festival.

Commissioned by CUSP, the Codename: Tomorrowland workshop has been developed by CUSP practice fellow Laurel Gallagher in collaboration with international arts organisation B Arts. This interdisciplinary collaboration aims to empower young people living in disadvantaged urban areas to become agents if change in their communities through real life scenarios, drama games, digital skills and urban planning.

This report presents a summary of a workshop we held in Stoke-on-Trent in May of this year. The emphasis in the workshop was to encourage discussions around identifying existing assets within the city, and to consider what would make Stoke-on-Trent a better place to live.
