Following two learning grants, we are pleased to announce a longer term collaboration with Laudes Foundation to provide core support and organisational development for our research and advice activities in CUSP.

Central to CUSP’s work is the nature of prosperity itself. Conventional models of prosperity are founded on the accumulation of wealth and guided by the idea that more is always better. But this vision is not only unsustainable, it is at odds with a scientific understanding of human wellbeing.

Climate change, social justice and sustainability are urgent priorities. But we are also faced with new and urgent needs: to protect health and wellbeing and to address longstanding inequalities exacerbated by conflict and the virus. As society begins to build a new vision for a post-pandemic era, our research on post-growth economics, sustainable living and the wellbeing economy has moved to the very centre of social discourse.

CUSP has pioneered research foundations for the transition to an inclusive and sustainable prosperity. With the grant support of Laudes Foundation, we are now seeking to expand our research and develop an advocacy strategy for policymakers and business leaders.
