The People’s Palace of Possibility
“If the thing is impossible, you need not trouble yourselves about it; if possible, try for it” (John Ruskin)
The People’s Palace of Possibility brings together social scientists with interactive arts company, The Bare Project. Participants become Palace Citizens and discover distant utopias, air fears, and take action to realise a better—or at least, less bleak—tomorrow. Part installation and part conversation, this is an uplifting and collaborative experience designed to question what is possible and how we might get there.
The Palace has been developed in partnership with CUSP and The Guild of Saint George. The installation on 7 November is part of the 2019 ESRC Festival of Social Science.
