Floating Worlds is an ongoing multi-disciplinary exploration of our relationship with the natural environment. A collaboration between theatre-maker Graham Eatough and visual artist Andre Dekker, the project offers an artistic response to some of today’s most pressing issues: the negotiations with landscape and climate amongst an ageing and sometimes isolated population. The first part of this project is presented here as a short film and book publication.

This special premiere of Floating Worlds: Erraid Sound (22 mins) is part of the current Hunterian exhibition Dislocations: territories, landscapes and other spaces. It will be introduced by Graham Eatough and the exhibition’s curator Dominic Paterson (The Hunterian). All attendees will receive a copy of the artist’s book Floating Worlds as part of the ticket price.

Refreshments served.

The Floating Worlds project is a co-production between The Hunterian, University of Glasgow and An Tobar & Mull Theatre. It has been created in association with KNOCKvologan on the Ross of Mull.

With the support of: Creative Scotland; Daiwa Foundation; CBK Rotterdam; Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, London; School of Culture and Creative Arts and CUSP at the University of Glasgow.
