Catherine joined the Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity in November 2016 as PA to Director Tim Jackson, and has taken on the role of CUSP coordinator in November 2017. Working closely with the communications director, she is responsible for event management and financial administration.
Catherine has a degree in Journalism from the University of Roehampton, where she was the recipient of the Vice Chancellors Scholarship in recognition of outstanding academic achievement.
Catherine joined the University of Surrey in 2015, in the School of Nursing, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences as a Research Co-ordinator for the International Care Ethics Observatory, running research events in the UK and internationally whilst studying as a mature student. She has brought this research and ethics experience to CUSP. Previously the Administration Manager for an EU funded project which questioned European identity within school age children across Europe, based at the University of Roehampton, Catherine has gained a good insight into academic research and event management.
As a mother of three children, Catherine has a particular interest in sustainability issues and believes the work of CUSP can help to create a better, more prosperous world for her family to grow up in.
