This short film is the product of CUSP research at the University of Glasgow and explores the idea of ‘American dreaming’, bringing the viewer in and out of a dream-like space by blurring images and ideas, while sounds – music, recordings and original composition – emerge and echo. This all happens at a club in Glasgow, where an alternate life is imagined and practised; an America from elsewhere.
