Mark is a Research Fellow at University of Glasgow in the School of Culture & Creative Arts. Working within our Art & Culture theme, his research focuses on questions of cultural value and meaning, place, and politics.
Mark is a Research Fellow at University of Glasgow in the School of Culture & Creative Arts. His research focuses on questions of cultural value and meaning, place, and politics.
Mark completed his PhD research at University of Leeds in 2022, after time spent darting and line dancing in Stoke-on-Trent. The thesis spoke to concerns around place and cultural value, cultural meaning and practice, as well as grief and solidarity.
Working with Mark Banks in Glasgow, he continues to contribute to CUSP’s Art and Culture theme.
